Celebs show Twitter love for Bill Clinton speech

By all accounts, Bill Clinton brought the house down in Charlotte, N.C., Wednesday night. In a stirring, 48 minute speech making the case for his Democratic successor's reelection, the 42nd president of the United States delivered remarks praising President Barack Obama's performance thus far -- and explaining why he deserves another four years in office.

Those viewing the convention at home, and on the Time Warner Cable Arena floor, went wild, tweeting their reactions to Bill's humorous, heartfelt missive. (The Washington Post?totaled the tweets fired off during Clinton's speech, which lasted between 10:35 and 11:23 pm -- a staggering 496,222.)

President Obama will take the podium -- and formally accept the Democratic party's nomination -- on Thursday night, with Eva Longoria, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson and the Foo Fighters among the A-listers expected to be in attendance in Charlotte.
