I'm thinking this is going to be a bit more realistic take on the Assassins if you gave their real-world history in the intro. Heck, this might even be part of the AC3 hype.

I have an assassin character that's distinctly on the fantasy side, but the name on the character sheet can very well be his "shadow name", the name he gives to others--even fellow assassins--in place of his birth name. The rest I can rewrite to fit the setting. As a bonus, I frequently end up showing people around text fights anyway, seeing as a lot of people think I could have been a contender.

If you'll have this dude, I think he'd make a perfect mentor character. Remember, everything in his sheet can be rewritten to conform to the new setting. Don't be surprised if I'm not active, though, as chemistry is really kicking my ass.

How long will he keep on fighting? How long will his pain last? Maybe only the X-Buster on his hand knows for sure...
